No CommentsOn 25 January 2016 I was able to raise the issue of the increasing capacity need in schools following the Government’s policy on free childcare. Some Heads have riased the issue with me that if more children can access the free childcare they would have to increase the physical capacity in schools. I asked :

At Leader of the House Questions on Thursday 21 January 2016 I asked for the return of £380,000 funding for English language tuition to Walsall Adult and Community College (WACC) following the Prime Minister’s announcement of a £20m fund for English language tuition.

Given the Prime Minister’s statement earlier in the week about learning English I asked a question to the Leader of the House on Thursday 21 January 2016. I visited Walsall Adult Community College who had their grant cut without consultation. The students I met were very concerned about the removal of their service. The College rated outstanding was left with no option. I asked:

Statement on Infected Blood- new process.

This situation is a tragedy. Some constituents have been affected by this scandal and have had difficulty in accessing medical records having had to prove that the person affected by infected blood was infected. This is not a good position. That is why I asked the question because people should be believed. many people contracted diseases through the infected blood and have had to face the stigma without knowing how or where they contracted these diseases including HIV. In the Statement the Minister outlined a new process on 21 January 2016. My question was on what evidence was needed which is sometimes difficult to get hold of:
