2016 April

In the House there were two important debates on Wednesday 20 April 2016. I signed both motions and both motions were passed.

On Tuesday 19 April 2016, I chaired a Westminster Hall debate on Unaccompanied Children. The debate was moved by Mr David Burrowes MP.

On Tuesday 19 April 2016, I  attended the Anglesey Day event in Parliament where I met small businesses including food and drink producers based in Anglesey to discuss issues they are currently facing.

On Sunday 17 April 2016,  I was a guest on the BBC Sunday Politics West Midlands. Topics for discussion were the revelations of the Panama Papers, the possible demise of the Lib Dems and Steel.

An Urgent question requested by the Shadow Health Secretary Heidi Alexander was granted by mr Speaker on Monday 18th April 2016 on Junior Doctor Contracts. I asked the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt MP:
