On 31 October 2018 I attended an event organised by the APPG for Diabetes to hear more about a disease that will affect five million people in the UK by 2025.

On 31 October 2018 there was a vital Westmister Hall Debate on Local Involvement in Shale Development.

On the EU, I asked the Leader of the House to clarify either at Business Questions or in a letter to me—and the House—what has actually been agreed in the negotiations? In her statement on Monday, the Prime Minister said that “95% of the withdrawal agreement and its protocols are now settled.” The EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier said that 90% was resolved. Which is it?

On Wednesday 24 October I voted in favour of an amendment to the Northern Ireland (Executive Formation and Exercise of Functions) Bill, New Clause 7. This was tabled by Stella Creasy MP and Conor McGinn MP.
