I appeared on BBC Politics Midlands on Sunday 28 February 2021. We discussed the Prime Minister’s roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions, supporting schools as they safely re-open and unemployment figures in the West Midlands.

I attended a virtual meeting of the APPG on Portugal on Thursday 25 February 2021 with His Excellency Mr. Manuel Lobo Antunes, Portugal’s Ambassador to the UK.

Responding on behalf of HM Opposition on Thursday 25 February 2021, I highlighted the Government’s failure to compensate Windrush victims and its unlawful awarding of coronavirus contracts. You can read my full speech here: 

On Thursday 11 February 2021, I responded to the business statement by urging the Government to provide adequate financial support for those who need to self isolate. I also asked for a debate on the petition signed by over 100,000 of our constituents, about Indian farmers, whose families have taken part in a peaceful and dignified protest to protect their livelihoods.
