A second meeting of the APPG on Epilepsy was held on Tuesday 25 May 2021 to mark National Epilepsy Awareness Week. We discussed young people’s changing experiences of epilepsy care presented by Catherine Hodder of Young Epilepsy. Two young people shared their personal experiences of epilepsy care.

On Monday 24 May 2021, I re-established the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Epilepsy by chairing its Annual General Meeting with a cross-party group of MPs and Peers.

APPG for Fruit, Veg and Horticulture

On Monday 17 May 2021 I attended a meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Fruit, Veg and Horticulture which was chaired by Theo Clarke MP. Members of the APPG spoke with gardener and television personality Alan Titchmarsh MBE who celebrated the best of British fruit, veg, plants and flowers. This was the first meeting of the APPG in the new parliamentary session and I became a member of the group.
