I attended the British Sikh Consultative Forum (BSCF) Vaisakhi event in Parliament on 25 April 2023. It was hosted by Jane Stevenson MP and Pat McFadden MP. Key elected members of Parliament were invited to attend.

In the second part of the Opposition Day Debate, on Tuesday 25 April HM Opposition tabled a Motion on the Cost of Living Increases. This is the full text of the Motion:

I attended a Westminster Hall Debate on the Affordable Homes Programme on Tuesday 25 April 2023. The debate was led by Mr Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi MP for Slough.  

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Children in Police Custody (APPG CPC) is a cross-party group of Members of the Houses of Commons and Lords who work together to raise awareness of children’s experience in policy custody and to develop recommendations that protect and respect children’s rights. Janet Daby MP is the Chair of the APPG.

On Tuesday 25 April HM Opposition tabled a Motion for debate on Water Quality (Sewage Discharge). This is the full text of the Motion: That this House calls on the Government to set a target for the reduction of sewage discharges, to provide for financial penalties in relation to sewage discharges and breaches of monitoring requirements, and to carry out an impact assessment of sewage discharges; and makes provision as set out in this Order.
