Delegated Legislation Committee scrutinise the Draft Green Deal Order 2014

On Wednesday 9 July 2014, a Delegated Legislation Committee scrutinised the Draft Green Deal (Qualifying Energy Improvements) (Amendments) Order 2014.

“I asked the Minister if he could provide a breakdown of the take-up of the green deal in each of our constituencies. The Minister said that he would write back to me.”

“The additional measures that were presented by the Government included energy efficient LED lighting which will allow consumers to pay back the expense of retrofitting their house through their electricity bill. Other additional measures include the use of replacement glazing panels for double-glazed windows, party wall insulation and more efficient storage heaters.”
