Valerie Supports 10 Minute Rule Bill on Wild Animals in Circuses.

On Wednesday 3 September 2014, Valerie attended the 10 Minute Rule motion proposed by Jim Fitzpatrick MP, on legislation relating to wild animals in circuses.

Valerie said: “In his speech Jim Fitzpatrick proposed the bill to ban wild animals from performing in circuses, which has experienced delays and difficulties in Parliament in recent years. I supported this Bill as it is a significant step in improving animal welfare in the UK. Many constituents have written to me about this topic.”
