Applications for the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Awards are now open. By entering, schools have the chance to win £1,500 for their Breakfast Club and Children and teachers from the winning clubs will be invited to attend the awards ceremony hosted in Parliament.
Breakfast clubs are essential for pupils, parents and teachers and are a proven way of helping children from all backgrounds start the school day focused and ready to learn. In the past 18 years, Kellogg’s has invested over £3 million in the Breakfast Club Programme, which currently supports 2,500 breakfast clubs across the UK.
The awards celebrate the best performing clubs in a arange of categories, including promoting a healthy lifestyle, extra learning, long life and sustainability, the best clubs in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the ‘Breakfast Club Hero’ award.
I encourage all the schools with breakfast clubs in Walsall South to apply so they have the chance to win £1,500 to help run their club and keep up their brilliant work. All entries should be submitted by Friday 7 October 2016.
