Valerie attends fundraiser for Kerala flood relief

I attended the Midland Indian Association fundraiser for the Kerala flood relief on Saturday 6 October 2018 at Lower Forster Street in Walsall

The devastating flood on India’s Southern State has caused hundreds of deaths and displaced more than 350,000 people who have been forced to abandon their homes and are being sheltered in relief camps.

I am pictured above with Sashikala Talam and Rina Kundu. The event included a show with singing and traditional Indian dancing by talented young people.
