Valerie visits Mindful Gifts CIC shop in Darlaston

I visited Mindful Gifts in Darlaston. The new shop is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means it work for the good of the community rather than personal gain. The shop is brimming with nostalgia and helps people with dementia to remember by touch and smell.

Vickki Phipps had the brilliant idea for this shop. Vickki  runs activities which you can see in the timetable below. You can also have tea and cake for a small donation.

It is well worth a visit to the shop. Support Vickki and the volunteers who provide a vital community service.
