Valerie raises Point of Order

A Point of Order is a clarification on a matter of procedure in the House of Commons. On Tuesday 8 October 2019, I raised the following Point of Order:

Valerie Vaz: Further to that point of order, Madam Deputy Speaker. The previous Prorogation was unlawful. This Prorogation is not unlawful.

Madam Deputy Speaker: I thank the hon. Lady for that point of order. I hope that, in this House, we will all respect each other and that we can conduct proceedings in a polite and respectful manner. The hon. Gentleman has put his feelings on the record, as has the hon. Lady. I suggest that we now move on.
