Valerie Visits Hucker Road Allotments

The Hucker Road Allotments offer excellent relaxation and exercise for allotment owners in Pleck, as well as plenty of fruit and vegetables.

On Wednesday 4 May 2022 I met with the manager of the allotments, Paul Hodgetts, who gave me a tour of the site.

We discussed improvements to waterways, paths,  and other infrastructure at the site, as well as accessibility. These include putting new stone on the road, installing new fencing, refurbishing old polytunnels and installing a disabled portaloo. I agreed to work with Paul to access the necessary funding to keep the site in good condition for all who use it.
