The Speaker granted an Urgent Question to Shadow Minister for Defence Jon Healey MP on 27 April 2023. The Urgent Question was ‘To ask the Defence Secretary to make a statement on the war in Ukraine.’ The Minister responded.
I was called to ask the Minister:
“Can the Minister say when the Defence Secretary last spoke to the NATO Secretary-General about the announcement he has made today and about the Chinese negotiations?”
The Minister responded:
“I cannot give the right hon. Lady an answer to that, but I am more than happy to write to her.”
