Love is in the air at the Palace of Westminster.

Valerie arranged for two constituents Hanin and Matt to a tour of the Houses of Parliament on 29 February 2012. Not only did they get to experience the historical beauty of Parliament but they got engaged.

Hanin had planned to propose to her partner Matt as it is a leap year and the 29^th was a special date for them both. Hanin chose the Houses of Parliament because it is Matt’s favourite place. Hanin presented Matt with a box in Westminster Hall, inside was a necklace engraved ‘Marry Me 29.02.2012′. Matt said YES.
