Valerie was interviewed by the Film Club on the future of Democracy to mark Parliament Week, which runs from 19 to 25 November 2012.
Valerie told Film Club:
“I always think of the next generation whenever I do anything in Parliament. It is very important that each generation leaves the world a better place than they found it.”
“I think it is very important for people to vote so that they know who their representative is and are able to have a voice.”
