On Tuesday 29 January 2013 at Treasury Questions, Valerie asked the Chancellor about underemployment within the workforce.
Valerie asked:
“I asked the Minister that he would know that 70% of the jobs that have been created, the new jobs, are part time. The Office for National Statistics has said that over 3 million people are underemployed. I asked if the figure of one in 10 people underemployed was rising or falling”
