On Wednesday 24 July 2013, Valerie visited Pheasey Park Farm Primary School and Palfrey Junior School on their last day of term.
Valerie said:
“At Palfrey Junior School, the leavers assembley for For pupils in Year 6 is always an emotional time as it is their last day before moving on to secondary school. This is a significant milestone for pupils. I was delighted to present Year 6 with a reminder of their last year which was a photograph of their class signed by their classmates and teachers.”
“At Pheasey Park Farm Primary School I met with the Head Teacher, Mrs Sally Lanni, other members of staff and representatives of the Governing Body. I was highly impressed by the ambitious ethos of the school and the determination of the staff to give pupils the very best start in life. The picture above shows an already large thank you file. ”
“The pupils in both schools were highly engaged and have clearly achieved much during their time at the schools. This is testament to the efforts and dedication of the pupils themselves, their parents and their teachers.”
