On Thursday 5 September 2013 the Lord Chancellor made an Urgent Statement in the House of Commons on Transforming Legal Aid.
Valerie Vaz MP a non practising solicitor asked the Lord Chancellor:
“Of the 16,000 responses to the Justice Secretary’s original consultation, how many were in favour of those earlier proposals?”
