Valerie meets with Indian Senior Civil Servants in Parliament

On Wednesday 23 October 2013, Valerie met with a delegation of Indian Senior Civil Servants in Parliament.

Valerie said:

“The delegation of Indian Senior Civil Servants were in the United Kingdom as part of a Cambridge University week long programme of executive education in leadership and transformational change.”

“I meet with the Delegation to discuss my background in British Politics, the role of the Health Select Committee and the way that Parliament is run in general.”

“As part of this programme the delegation heard first-hand accounts from the top of government about personal journeys and the leadership challenges faced, and about the approach to leadership, change management and strategic thinking which have been pursued in the UK. They had the opportunity to meet with officials in Whitehall and senior members of the Cabinet Office.”
