A heads up to let out know that as part of Highways England’s work to improve M6 junction 10 to ease congestion and reduce journey times, the M6 motorway will be closed over the weekend of 3-5 July 2021.
Highways England will be constructing a new bridge across the north of the junction. To lift into place the five 44-metre-long beams, with each beam weighing 130 tonnes for the new bridge, the M6 motorway will be closed in both directions between the junction 10 exit and entry slip roads.
Please share this information widely ahead of the closure to help ensure that any inconvenience is kept to a minimum.
