Valerie has criticised the introduction of the “Bedroom Tax” in Walsall South after figures from the National Housing Federation revealed that an estimated 1,434 households in Walsall South will lose out following the changes to housing benefits.

Valerie visited Hillary Primary School on Friday 1 March 2013 for an interview with the School Council and to see what can be done to address traffic problems around the School.

Valerie said further consideration by the Court of Appeal on the Phone Mast on Waverley Avenue, Pheasey, may be possible.

Following a request from Valerie under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 it has been revealed that 26,892 green recycling bins have been left un-collected as part of Walsall MBC’s “Zero Tolerance” recycling policy.
