Macmillan Coffee Morning 2020

This year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning was held on Friday 25 September 2020. Each year, people in the UK and worldwide host their own Coffee Morning. The donations received go towards Macmillan services to help provide support to people who have cancer across the UK. Debate on Yemen

On Thursday 24 September 2020, Parliament held a debate on the situation in Yemen. This was the result of a public petition signed by over 210,000 people across the UK, including 638 people in Walsall South. The petition called for a ceasefire for all sides in Yemen to carry out humanitarian aid.

Valerie responds to motions on Proxy Voting

On Wednesday 23 September 2020, I responded to two motions relating to proxy voting. The first of these motions made provision for proxy voting for parental absence in the standing orders of the House.
