Valerie collects Monmouth Road Petition from Bentley West Primary

Bentley West Primary School on Monmouth Road in Bentley has collected a petition of more than 200 signatures calling for traffic calming measures to be installed on Monmouth Road. On Friday 3 July 2015 I visited the school to collect the petition so that I can present it to Parliament.

Valerie joins in the Minute’s silence at Walsall FC for victims of terror attack in Sousse

On Friday 3 July 2015 I paid my respects to the 38 people killed in the terrorist attack at Sousse in Tunisia I took part in the minute’s silence held at Walsall FC’s Banks’ Stadium in memory of those killed including 3 generations of the same family of Walsall FC supporters. I laid flowers next to the many tributes from the Saddlers fans which covered two sides of the entrance to the Main Reception.

I am honoured to have been appointed by Mr Speaker, the Rt Hon John Bercow MP to the Panel of Chairs. Members of the Panel of Chairs are responsible for chairing Delegated Legislation Committees, Debates in Westminster Hall and Public Bill Committees.
