Celebrating success at Alumwell College

On Wednesday 24th November, Valerie Vaz MP for Walsall South attended the Presentation Evening at Alumwell Business and Enterprise College as a special guest.  Valerie Vaz MP was pleased to present a variety of awards to the pupils at Alumwell and to celebrate their achievements with them.

Valerie said: “Higher level qualifications are immensley important in opening up opportunities for further study and in the world of work.  These qualifications are not merely letters of percentage figures on a page, but rich experiences in themselves.”

“Learning to study – whatever the subject or the skill – involves working both with independent initiative and teamwork commitments.  It is not only a means to an end, but is itself one of the most valuable lessons we learn”.
