Darlaston Health Centre

A concerned constituent contacted me about the entrance to Darlaston Health Centre on Pinfold Street, as access to the practice, particularly for disabled people, had been restricted.

I then wrote to the CQC and CCG and I am delighted that a structural report on the building was completed, repairs carried out to the internal and external brickwork, the window, door glass and drain-piping have all been replaced, and bespoke metalwork has been undertaken at the main entrance. Full access to this vital Centre is now in place.

Thank you to all involved, the constituent who raised the issue and the NHS who fixed it. The constituent has told me that people are very pleased with the results. I have seen the entrance and it is now fully accessible and a wonderful job was done by all.
