On Wednesday 12 January, I re-established the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Epilepsy by chairing its Annual General Meeting with a cross-party group of MPs and Peers.
On Wednesday 12 February, I became a Vice-Chair of the UK Thalassaemia All-Party Parliamentary Group. Thalassaemia is an inherited blood disorder that effects a substance in the blood called haemoglobin.

I attended Make UK’s parliamentary drop-in session on Tuesday 4 February to show my support for British manufacturers. In Walsall South, there are currently 250 manufacturing businesses which represent 4,500 jobs.
I was delighted to attend the Gurdwara on West Bromwich Road on Sunday 2 February 2020. Following my re-election, I wanted to thank the Sikh community for their support.
I was delighted to welcome pupils from Grace Academy, Darlaston to Parliament this week. During our Q&A, students asked me thoughtful and engaging questions about Parliament and our democracy.
