St Matthew's Church held an open day on Saturday 21 September 2019 to celebrate this wonderful church and the local community it serves.
I went for a walk with the Walsall Kobar Friendship Association on Saturday 21 September 2019. We started at the Arboretum and walked by the canal to raise awareness of the situation in Palestine and funds for people in Kobar.

I visited Acorns Children's Hospice on Wednesday 18 September 2019 for the launch of Andy Brown’s fantastic CD; the proceeds go to various charities that are close to his heart, including Acorns. I am pictured above with Andy and Tom.
On 18 September 2019 I visited Ablewell Advice Centre for its tin and tour event. The Centre provides free, confidential and independent help exclusively for Walsall residents.
The Government prorogued Parliament on Monday 9 September 2019. Prorogation marks the end of a parliamentary session. It is the formal name given to the period between the end of a session of Parliament and the State Opening of Parliament that begins the next session.
The Government was defeated on Wednesday 4 September 2019 on a motion under the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 (No.2) calling for an early General Election.
