I spoke about how the victims of this tragic event, along with the victims of the 7/7 bombings and the attack
I joined a multi-faith discussion, broadcasted by Kanshi TV, to reflect on the Manchester atrocity and talk about the issues that affect each community.
On Saturday 20 May 2017 I attended the open day of Zia-E-Madinah Masjid in Darlaston. Themes on display were the Holy Qur’an, the Prophets, Islamic contribution to science, Women in Islam and various Islamic artefacts.
It was a pleasure to visit Palfrey Sure Start's mother and baby clinic on Thursday 18 May 2017 to meet its hardworking team and see the children enjoying themselves.
I was delighted to chair a question and answer session with Keir Starmer, Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, at the Park Inn hotel in Walsall on Wednesday 17 May 2017.
On Saturday 6 May 2017 I went to the fun day at Masjid Al-Farouq to help raise money for the newborn unit at Manor Hospital. The stalls including henna/mehndi, cake stall, and various games, raised funds towards a £20,000 target, which will go to providing the unit with vital equipment such as heart rate monitors.

On 24 April 2017, I wrote to the Chief Executive of Walsall MBC to outline my constituents’ concerns on grass verge parking on Walstead Road, and to inform the Council that local authorities have the power to solve this issue.
