I spoke in the Summer Adjournment Debate on Thursday 21 July 2016. I raised the concerns of my constituents in relation to Walstead Road, Great Barr and the Broadway campus of the University of Wolverhampton, and called on the Government to take action on litter and restart a national anti-litter public information campaign.

On Monday 18 July 2016, I intervened at the Westminster Hall Debate on Student Loans Agreement which considered e-petition 131167 relating to changes to the student loans agreement. The debate was moved by Helen Jones MP.
On 18 July 2016 the House of Commons debated the Government’s motion to upgrade Britain’s nuclear weapons system by replacing the current Vanguard class submarines with four Successor submarines.
On Saturday 16 July I met with Jamal Hussain the owner of Kashmir Meat & Poultry to offer my support. The butchers was left badly damaged in a fire-bomb attack on Monday 27 June 2016. Mr Hussain escaped injury, but it could have been much more serious. I saw the catastrophic damage that the fire
On Friday 15th July I cut the ribbon at Whitehall Nursery and Infant School new playground. The new playground is an excellent addition to the playground and is surfaced with soft artificial grass to provide a safe area for the children to play.
