I would like to wish a very happy Diwali to all those celebrating the festival of lights. Diwali is a uniquely uniting festival which brings together people of different faiths: Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs, some Buddhists and also those who are of no faith.
On Tuesday 10 November 2015 I voted at the Report Stage and against the Third Reading of the Trade Union Bill. The Bill amends the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation Act) Act 1992.
The Science & Technology Committee, of which I am a member, has an inquiry the Investigatory Powers Bill and its technological issues and questioned witnesses. here is the exchange of questions with the first panel of witnesses:
At BIS questions on 10 November 2015 I was drawn at Number 17. I was called during Topical questions.
On Tuesday 10 November 2015, I chaired two debates in Westminster Hall as a member of the Panel of Chairs.
The Remembrance Sunday Parade and service took place with a march past by the Staffordshire Band and Cadets and other youth organisations. The procession led by the Mayor Cllr Angela Underhill and Mr John Underhill. The service was led by Revd Mark Kinder from St Paul’s at the Crossing and addressed by the Ven Sue
Residents of Walstead Road and West Bromwich Road and I met on Friday 6 November 2015 with Mr Steve Pretty, Head of Engineering and Transportation for Walsall MBC.
