The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care came to the House on Monday 3 July 2023 to present the NHS Long-term Workforce Plan. This was announced by NHS England on Thursday 29 June and in a written statement on Friday 30 June before the Secretary of State announced it to the House. I

The Summer Reading Challenge is here again. At the Parliamentary Drop-in the Reading Agency presented the books they are donating. The Challenge encourages children aged 4-11 to keep reading during the summer holidays.  Your local library will have details and will issue the books. The Chief Executive of the Institute of Publishers said this was the most successful of the creative industries.
