I raised the future of Birmingham Airport at the Statement by the Transport Secretary on the report of the Airport Commission on Wednesday 1 July 2015.

On Friday 26 June 2015, I visited Delves Infants School to meet the members of the School Council.
I arranged a meeting on Thursday 25 June 2015 for residents of Stafford Road to put their views to representatives of Centro and National Express, Jon Hayes and Jack Kelly after two new bus routes were added to the road including a double decker bus.
On Tuesday 24 June 2015 Valerie intervened in a speech by Sir Keir Starmer MP, Holborn and St Pancras, and former Director of Public Prosecutions on the Crown Prosecution Service.
On Tuesday 23 June 2015 I attended Parliamentary Links Day 2015 on Science and the new Parliament.
On Monday 22 June 2015, Valerie Vaz MP, Walsall South, spoke in the debate on the Education and Adoption Bill which includes provisions to force ‘coasting schools’ to become academies and to remove adoption functions from local authorities.
