Sports day at Rough Hay Primary School in Darlaston was duly opened by Valerie Vaz MP.
Valerie attended the 21st Libraries Change Lives Awards in Westminsteron Tuesday 27 January 2012. The event was organised by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP). The awards were open to all UK Library services and each project was judged according to criteria including; partnership working; meeting local needs and evidence of changing
Students from Walsall College met with Valerie on Friday 22 June 2012 . They are concerned about the Government's plans to require students aged over 24 studying for A-Level equivalent qualifications to take out loans to pay their course fees.
On Friday 22 June 2012, Valerie held a meeting with residents of Stafford Road, Darlaston and Council Officers to discuss ongoing problems with traffic, the road surface, parking and noise.
