Students from Second Chance School visit Westminster

On Friday 30 November Valerie hosted students from the Second Chance School in Walsall around the Houses of Parliament.

Valerie said:

“This was an opportunity for the students to learn about Parliament. I took the students into the House of Commons and the House of Lords.”

“It was a pleasure to meet the students from the Second Chance School. I enjoyed answering their questions about the role and history of Parliament. I look forward to continue my relationship with the school and the students in the future.”

Second Chance School’s headteacher, Jan Concannon was also present and said that this was the first time soem of the students had visited London and the Houses of Parliament :
