As part of the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy initiative which involves all 53 countries of the Commonwealth, I planted rowan, silver birch and a hazel saplings at Manor Hospital on 23 March 2019. Over 500 MPs have pledged to plant trees as part of the initiative.

A service was held in memory of the life of Paul Flynn MP at the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft on Friday 22 March 2019. Paul passed away on 17 February 2019. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

The Prime Minister should have given Parliament broad heads of agreement right at the start, so that she could understand what Parliament wanted. Secretaries of State have resigned—we are now on our third Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union. Ministers have resigned. This is a crisis of the Government’s own making, and the Cabinet is divided.
