I asked the Leader of the House when the debate on the meaningful vote will resume. Each week we stand here and we trust what the Leader of the House says and we trust the agreements we make. How can we continue to trust this Government? Their mantra is, “Nothing is agreed until it is agreed”, but it should now be, “Nothing is agreed ever.”
I responded to the Business of the House motion on Monday 10 December 2018 in which the Government deferred the meaningful vote on Brexit which was scheduled for Tuesday 11 December 2018.
I joined with 15,000 protestors to stand up to Racism on 9 December 2018. The protest through Central London offered a positive message of community and tolerance and dwarfed a divisive far-right protest organised for the same day.
