Reverend Mark Kinder organised and led a vigil at the Crossing at St Paul's on Tuesday 23 May 2017 to remember those who were killed in Manchester. Everyone who attended was invited to speak. I spoke about how the victims of this tragic event, along with the victims of the 7/7 bombings and the attack in Parliament earlier this year, will never be forgotten.
I joined a multi-faith discussion, broadcasted by Kanshi TV, to reflect on the Manchester atrocity and talk about the issues that affect each community.
On Saturday 20 May 2017 I attended the open day of Zia-E-Madinah Masjid in Darlaston. Themes on display were the Holy Qur’an, the Prophets, Islamic contribution to science, Women in Islam and various Islamic artefacts.
It was a pleasure to visit Palfrey Sure Start's mother and baby clinic on Thursday 18 May 2017 to meet its hardworking team and see the children enjoying themselves.
