I attended Palfrey Health and Wellbeing #iMatter Day at Palfrey Community Association on Saturday 21 October 2017 to raise awareness of health issues and empower local residents about the importance of prevention and early intervention.
At Business Questions I raised the following questions with the Leader of the House:
On 18 October 2017 I attended the Opposition Day debate on Universal Credit to urge Government to pause Universal Credit and stop driving up poverty and homelessness.
On 13 October 2017 I was delighted to present the School Council at Queen Mary’s Grammar School with the runner-up plaque in the 17-19 year old category of the Speaker’s School Council Award for their ‘Change Your Mind’ project. I also met with the Headteacher Timothy Swain and Head of German Sophie McPhee.
