I attended a Westminster Hall on Marriage Registration Certificates on Tuesday 8 December 2015 secured by Christina Rees MP ( Neath). Since 1837 marriage certificates in England and Wales have included the names of the fathers, but not their mothers. Women are being excluded from historical records- this is simply unacceptable in modern society. The Prime Minster promised to address this inequality over a year ago but little progress  has been made.

I chaired the debate on the use of Neonicotinoids on Crops in Westminster Hall on Monday 7 December 2015. The debate was led by Ben Howlett MP and was on the motion: "That this House has considered e-petition 104796 relating to the use of neonicotinoids on crops." The Minister, George Eustice MP replied to the debate.

I visited Bentley West Primary School on Friday 4 December 2015 to meet the School Council who had been presented with badges  and to answer questions from pupils about my work in Parliament and in Walsall South.
