On Thursday 12 March 2015, Valerie and the Shadow Transport Secretary, Michael Dugher MP, launched additional evening and new Sunday bus services for residents of Beacon Heights.
On Tuesday 10 March 2015 Valerie tabled an Early day Motion on Gender Equality.
On Wednesday 4 March 2015 Valerie was presented with a commemorative shield made in Bethlehem from olive wood by the General Union of Palestinian Students for voting in favour of recognising the state of Palestine in a debate in the House of Commons.
On Monday 9 March 2015 Valerie attended the Science, Engineering & Technology (SET) for Britain event in Parliament.
On Sunday 1 March 2015, Valerie attended the institution and licensing of the Rev'd Gilbert David as Team Vicar of Darlaston and Moxley at All Saint's Church, Darlaston.
