As part of the celebrations for the 800 anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta, on Thursday 5 February 2015 Valerie viewed the four remaining copies of the 1215 Magna Carta originals in Parliament.
On Tuesday 3 February 2015, Valerie was drawn at Number 9 at Justice Questions.
On Tuesday 3 February 2015 the Health Select Committee, of which Valerie is a member, heard evidence as part of their inquiry into the impact of physical activity and diet on health. The Committee heard evidence from representatives from NICE, the Nuffield Department of Primary Health Care Sciences, Which?, the British Heart Foundation, and the UK Health Forum.
On Wednesday 28 January 2015 the Opposition was granted an Urgent Question asking the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement onwhat guidance has been issued by NHS England on declaring a major incident.
On Wednesday 28 January 2015, Valerie took part in a Roundtable Discussion with a delegation from the Moroccan Parliament.
