On Wednesday 25 June 2014 Valerie intervened in the Westminster Hall Debate on the situation in Burma and the persecution of the Rohingya and other minorities.
On Wednesday 24 June 2014, Valerie met with the Parliamentary delegation from Sudan at the House of Commons.
On Tuesday 17 June 2014 the Health Select Committee, of which Valerie is a member, heard evidence on NHS complaints and raising concerns.
