On Monday 10th February, Valerie voted in favour of two amendments to the Children and Families Bills regarding the "regulation of tobacco packaging" and "smoking in cars with children present".
On Saturday 8 February 2014, Valerie visited Pleck Library and read to children to mark National Libraries day 2014.
On the 11th February, Ian Robertson, Mohammed Aslam and the Mayor of Walsall will be visiting Kasguma in Kashmir, Pakistan with a Charity which helps vulnerable children.
On Wednesday 5 February Valerie Vaz, MP for Walsall South, raised concerns about the Government’s NHS policy in the Opposition Day debate.
On Thursday 6 February 2014, Valerie attended a Backbench Business Debate in the House of Commons on Scotland's Place in the UK.
