On Monday 16 January 2023, the House of Commons debated the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill. If passed, the Bill would allow the Government to impose requirements for minimum service levels during strikes in six sectors: health, fire and rescue, education, transport, nuclear decommissioning and border security.
On Monday 16 January I was attended a private roundtable with the Indo-British All Party Parliamentary Group. The roundtable was addressed by His Excellency the Indian High Commissioner, Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami, who has served in London since September 2022.
On 16 January 2023 during Education Questions, the Minister was asked what steps her Department is taking to improve school buildings. I asked the Minister:
I met with The High Commissioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Her Excellency Saida Muna Tasneem on 12 January 2023. Her Excellency has served as High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom since November 2018.
In the second part of the Opposition Day Debate, on Wednesday 11 January 2023 HM Opposition tabled a motion on the Long-term Strategy for the National Health Service.
