I was contacted by my constituents who raised concerns about Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) and their decision to withdraw and amend several bus services. I was concerned to see that Walsall South bus services were at risk.

HM Opposition used the Opposition Day Debate to raise the issue of NHS Workforce. Labour put forward a motion which called on the House to recognise the shortage of 9,000 hospital doctors and 50,000 nurses, and to condemn the Government’s failure to train enough NHS staff. The motion was put to the House - I voted in favour, and it passed, Ayes:226 and Noes:0.

The Online Safety Bill creates a number of duties for companies that host user-generated content to protect their users. However, the Bill has been watered down and weakened by the Government. The Bill no longer creates an obligation for websites to remove 'legal but harmful' material, which means children online can still be exposed to damaging material online.
