Update on the Sprint Route: My letter to Walsall Council

I have also written to the Chief Executive of Walsall Council about the Sprint Bus proposals. I am concerned about the proposed location of the Park and Ride Car Park. Walsall Council’s Site Allocation Document 2019 identifies the proposed site as green belt land on page 139. 

Any decision to approve such a proposal would contravene Walsall Council’s stated policy of “protecting the Green Belt from inappropriate development” in the SAD, which was agreed after extensive consultation with residents and stakeholders.
