I appeared on the BBC Sunday Politics West Midlands show on 4 November 2018.
Topics of discussion were Jaguar Land Rover, the Budget, Birmingham’s failed bid to house the national HQ of Channel 4.
I said that Brexit has had an impact on big companies that invested in the UK because we were a stepping-stone to Europe. 60% of our exports are in Europe. On the Budget, more money needs to come from central Government. There have been 21,000 police officers cut since 2010 and the Government are not honouring the teachers’ pay review which recommended a 3.5% increase.
