I signed the Remembering Srebrenica Book of Pledges in Parliament on Thursday 12 July 2018, promising to stand up to hatred and intolerance and promote a fair, equal and cohesive society for everyone.
Srebrenica Memorial Day marks the 23rd anniversary of the worst atrocity on European soil since World War Two when over 8,000 men and boys were murdered just because of their faith in the Srebrenica genocide.
Srebrenica Memorial Week takes place from 8th– 15th July with around 2000 memorial events activities taking place across the country arranged by schools, faith groups and community organisations.
