Valerie pledged to support Little Miss Geek’s HER-in-Hero Campaign

On Thursday 10 October 2013 Valerie pledged her support for Little Miss Geek’s HER-in-Hero Campaign.

Valerie said:

“The HER-in-Hero Campaign that is being run by Little Miss Geek is celebrating Ada Lovelace Day on 15 October 2013 and also championing young women in technology.”

“Only 17% of the tech workforce is female. Women such as Ada Lovelace are a wonderful role model to young girls, but there is a need for a younger generation of girls to come into the technology sector.”
